Originally from Charlotte, NC, Chris Campbell began his classical guitar studies in 2012 at Central Piedmont Community College with Bob Teixeira, where he was honored as Outstanding Student of the Year. He went on to complete his Bachelor’s degree at Kennesaw State University under the guidance of Mary Akerman, and earned his Master’s degree in 2017 from East Carolina University, where he studied with Dr. Elliot Frank and served as a Graduate Assistant.

Chris currently lives in Greenville, NC, and serves as a full-time music instructor at Beaufort County Community College in Washington, NC. Chris was recently named Faculty Member of the Year for the 2023–2024 academic year.
